Proptia Rollout Information

Hello Neighbors,

As you know, we’re rolling out Proptia. This is a large undertaking for a board of volunteers and gate staff that has 1 person staffed at a time.  Please help us expedite the process by reading the following carefully. If you still have questions after reviewing these instructions, you can email [email protected] for assistance.

We have sent out the Proptia welcome emails to the primary email address the gate had on file. This email will have the subject of “Welcome to Proptia, Let’s Get Started!” If you did not get this email, please submit a ticket using the contact form on the website.

For adding vehicles and residents, you cannot do this through the app. The app is intended for day to day use with guests and vendors.

Once registered, you can use the following links to download the app.

TO ADD OTHER RESIDENTS
  • Go to portal.proptia.com from a computer
  • Click Residents on the left
  • Click Add in the top right corner
  • When you add children, you may choose if they can add guests or not.

** Please ensure email and phone numbers are up to date. This is how the gate will reach you if needed for an emergency or if any questions arise at the gate with your guests/vendors.

TO ADD VEHICLES
  • Go to portal.proptia.com from a computer
  • Go to vehicles on the left
  • Click Add
  • Fill out Year, Make, Model, Year, License Plate and State

** Each household can get up to 4 RFID tags at no charge
** We will be setting up options to get your RFID tags in the near future. We’ll likely ask for a few residents to volunteer 4-7pm shifts at the pool to allow people to swing by on their way home. Once the bulk is done, we will then allow registering for times at the gate in small blocks to avoid overwhelming the guard staff. We will let you know once decals are ready to be distributed.

TO UPDATE YOUR ACCOUNT
  • Go to portal.proptia.com from a computer
  • Go to My Account on the bottom left.
TO ADD GUESTS/CONTRACTORS
  • Guests can be added via the mobile app.
  • Launch the app
  • Login
  • Click the + sign
  • Fill out the form

** You can also go to portal.proptia.com and click “Add Visitor” from the top right of your dashboard page.

** For permanent guests, you must select a pass duration. This is a bit confusing and we’ve given Proptia feedback on it. For now, the reason is once a guest gets let in once, their license plate gets them in automatically going forward. You’ll still get a notification that they’ve entered, but a guard doesn’t delay the process by physically letting them in.

PET DIRECTORY

This section is entirely optional, but does give the gate a way to search by color/breed if a pet is lost.
